Information Skills allow your character to interact with the world of Talvair between events. Your character might have contacts with valuable information, might need to send a letter to someone important, or might have access to resources - you access all of these things by using Information Skills. Ascendant's Information Skills fall into two categories: Major and Minor. The description of each skill in the rulebook specifies which type of Information Skill it is.
You may use each of your Major Information Skills once between events. You may not use Major Information Skills in the three weeks immediately preceding an event.
You may use one Minor Information Skill once per month. You may not use Minor Information Skills in the three weeks immediately preceding an event.
